Ecumenical Candlelight Taize. 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Basilica, 1109 Chestnut St., Alameda. An hour or so of silence, solitude, and serenity. Prayer song, a combination of selective and contemplative mantras, accompanied by string instruments and/or percussion; may include Scriptural reading and inspirational prayer. Every 4th Friday.
