St. Perpetua Senior Activities Group (SAGE). Monthly Bridge beginning at 9:30 a.m. second Fridays in the parish hall, St. Perpetua Church, 3454 Hamlin Road, Lafayette. 925-283-0272.

Friday, Feb. 24
Golden Friends luncheon. To be held at a place to be announced in mid to late January. Golden Friends is a ministry for seniors sponsored by St. Michael Church in Livermore. Members meet monthly for lunch and prayer and occasional outings. Contact Wilma at 925-447-8198 for updated information.

First Fridays
60 Plus or Minus Club. Meets after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in Mt. Tabor Hall, Church of the Transfiguration, 4000 East Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley. 510-538-7941 or Transfig_Office@sbcglobal.net.

Third Fridays
The Classic Club Pot Luck Dinner. 5:45 p.m. hors d'oeuvres, 6:30 p.m. dinner, in the Ministry Center at St. Isidore Parish, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville. This social group is made up of parishioners and friends who are 55 years of age and older who meet monthly except during July and August. People are asked to bring food to share. St. John the Baptist Community Center. 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 at 6500 Gladys Ave. (at Lexington Ave.), El Cerrito. Gathering usually includes a guest speaker, fellowship and lunch. 510-232-5659.

Third Tuesdays

Saturday, Jan. 14
Family Caregiver Class on Living with Dementia. 9:45 a.m. to noon at Hope Hospice, 6377 Clark Ave., Suite 100, Dublin. (second floor conference room.) Laura Wyman, a nationally recognized expert on dementia and author of "A Loving Approach to Dementia Care," will discuss the various medical conditions that can cause dementia including its leading cause, Alzheimer's disease. Memory Café. 2 p.m. in the Community Hall of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at 254 Broadmoor Blvd., San Leandro. Sponsored by Memory DayByDay, a nonprofit working with early-onset and early-stage Alzheimer's dementia, The Memory Café is opened to those with dementia and their family and friends.
