Thanksgiving at St. Cornelius School
St. Cornelius School in Richmond filled its auditorium Nov. 22 with more than 300 pupils, faculty, parents and parishioners for its 13th annual Thanksgiving Feast, produced by school parent volunteers. "This event is in place for us to come together and give God thanks and glorify His name for all His blessings. We are here to ensure everyone has an opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with their family, us, their brothers and sisters in Christ," said Principal Shervin Moradi. In many classes, pupils made their own Thanksgiving placemats, and grade by grade they filed through the food line, after a blessing by pastor, Rev. Sergio Mora.
