St. Agnes Retired Seniors (STARS) potluck luncheon. 11 a.m. in the church hall, St. Agnes Church, 3966 Chestnut Ave., Concord. Attendees are asked to bring their choice of a main dish, salad, or dessert (enough for six helpings). This month's speaker is St. Agnes' pastor Rev. Johnson Abraham who will talk about his home in India.

First Fridays
60 Plus or Minus Club at Transfiguration Parish. After the 9 a.m. Mass at 4000 East Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley. It's the perfect social club for folks over 60 … or younger! 510-538-7941.

Third Fridays
The Classic Club Pot Luck Dinner. 5:45 p.m. (beverages and hors d'oeuvres), 6:30 p.m. (dinner) in the Ministry Center at St. Isidore Parish, 440 LaGonda Way in Danville. For adults, couples, singles ages 55 and over. Activities also may include bingo, trivia games, story-telling. People are asked to bring either an appetizer, salad, entrée (pre-cooked) or dessert. HEALTH/FITNESS

Mondays

T'ai Chi. 8 a.m. at St. Columba Parish, 6401 San Pablo Ave., Oakland. Sponsored by the St. Columba Health Cabinet. This free class, which is open to everyone, inspires mental relaxation and physical strength and balance. 510-654-7600.

Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays

Thursdays
The Memory Café. 2 p.m. in the Community Center of St Peter's Lutheran Church at 294 Broadmoor Blvd., San Leandro. The Memory Café is a place for people with dementia and the people who care for them come in for a cup of coffee or tea. It is a place to have a chance to talk with people who understand the difficulties of this disease.

Fridays

Multiple offerings

Silver and Gold Ministry at St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish. 3351 Contra Loma Blvd. in Antioch. This ministry, for adults 55+, offers a number of experiences that are social, educational, active in nature. Information: 925-778-0768.

All Saints Senior Ministry was started at All Saints Parish in Hayward over 30 years ago to assist seniors and parishioners with information on health issues, transportation, legal issues and care givers. The Ministry, which also offers a place to gather for friendship and social events, organizes luncheons, trips, speakers and a yearly retreat. Information: 510-846-5300.

St. Agnes Retired Seniors (STARS) in Concord plans 10 luncheon meetings per year, as well as other activities such as casino bus trips. STARS welcomes all seniors and guests. There are no dues or fees for membership. Information: 925-689-0838 or contact Bob or Sandi Rigor at 925-682-0387.

Golden Friends is the senior ministry of St. Michael Parish in Livermore. Members meet monthly for lunch and prayer and also for fun outings. Information: Wilma at 925-447-8198 or email Wilma.matuska@gmail.com.

Volunteers/ donations needed

St. Mary's Center is asking for donations of new — never used — sleeping bags which are in their original bags, for homeless seniors. Will also need volunteers and donations to support the winter homeless shelter for seniors (ages 55 and over) on Dec. 1. 510-923-9600.

Meals on Wheels and Senior Outreach Services, Contra Costa County, is in need of volunteer drivers to deliver meals in Antioch, Bay Point and Pittsburg. 925-946-1869.
