Mass for slain archbishop
The Catholic Diocese of Oakland, the Cathedral of Christ Our Light and the Oakland Catholic Worker will host a diocesanwide liturgy to commemorate the beatification of Archbishop Oscar Romero of El Salvador at 2 p.m. April 24 in the cathedral. A procession at the cathedral will be held beforehand at 1:30 p.m. Contact the Oakland Catholic Worker, 510-533-7375.
