Lenten Missions in the Jubilee Year of Mercy, facilitated by Rev. Mark Wiesner at two parishes: St. Charles Borromeo, 1315 Lomitas Ave., Livermore. Choose: morning session 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. evening session Feb 29-March 2; and at St. Callistus, 3580 San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 14-16.

Alameda Deanery Jubilee of Mercy Lenten Mission. At St. Albert the Great Church Hall, 1022 Holly St., Alameda; St. Joseph Basilica Parish, 1109 Chestnut St., Alameda. Join the Alameda Deanery for three days of spiritual enrichment and growing in understanding of God's loving mercy. Each session will be offered twice: 9 a.m. mornings at St. Albert the Great; 7 p.m. evenings at St. Joseph Basilica. March 7: "The Spirituality of Mercy," presented by Margaret Turek; March 8: "Experiencing God's Mercy: Forgiveness, Healing and the Sacrament of Reconciliation," presented by Rev. Mark Wiesner, followed by the opportunity for individual Confession; March 9: "The Corporal Works of Mercy," presented by Steve Mullin.
