Bishop's Vineyard
at the Cathedral Shop

Robert Porter, a volunteer from St. Joan of Arc Parish in San Ramon, supervises a wine tasting assisted by Michele Zaugg, administrator of the Cathedral Shop. The store opened its Christmas shopping season Nov. 12 with a tasting of wines from the Bishop's Vineyard and a preview of its Fair Trade and traditional Florentine-style Nativities. Bishop's Vineyard wines are made from grapes grown on Catholic cemetery property and have been crafted into premium wines. The Cathedral Shop is on the plaza at 2121 Harrison, Oakland, www.ctlcathedral.org. Information about the wines is at www.bishopsvineyard.org.
