Jesuit deacons ordained
Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ, ordained nine Jesuit deacons at the Cathedral of Christ the Light on Oct. 24. The deacons hail from as far away as Japan, India and Chile. Two of the men, Andrew Rodriguez of the Philippines and Marc Valadao of Fort Bragg, are assigned to the California Province.
