Feast of St. Mary Magdalene
Two parishes are jointly celebrating the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene: At
7 p.m. July 13, St. Perpetua Church in Lafayette will anticipate the feast with prayer, music and an audio-visual presentation by Ronald Olowin, professor of Physics and Astronomy at St. Mary's College, on "St. Mary Magdalene and the Divine Feminine." On July 22, Christ the King Church in qPleasant Hill will celebrate the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene at the 8 a.m. Mass, featuring the theme, "The Light of Truth."

Quo Vadis Vocation Discernment Camp. At the Diocese of Oakland Retreat Center, 1977 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette. Young men ages 13 to 18 are invited to the three-day camp. Sponsored by the Diocese of Oakland. This camp aims to assist young men recognize and respond to their own vocation invitation from our Lord and grow in their relationship with Christ.
