HNU celebrates 135th commencement
Holy Names University in Oakland held commencement ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students. More than 120 graduate students received their degrees during the exercises on the evening of May 15, and 180 undergraduates received their degrees on the afternoon of May 16. Marvin J. Lopez, head of Atipica University, a startup that aims to drive diversity in the tech industry through technology and innovation, spoke at the graduate ceremony, and Miguel Bustos '93, senior vice president and regional director at Wells Fargo Bank, spoke at the undergraduate ceremony. "Find your passion. Expand your knowledge to live your passion, and get ready for change," Lopez said.
