"A Celebration of Peace Through Music," a two-hour televised concert created by American conductor Sir Gilbert Levine recorded last year to honor Popes John XXIII, John Paul II and Francis, is scheduled to be broadcast at 3 p.m. on KQED, Channel 9 public television. The concert features the Orchestra of St. Luke's from Carnegie Hall, the Kraków Philharmonic Choir and the Choral Arts Society of Washington. Levine is known as the "Pope's Maestro" for his decades long friendship with Pope John Paul II.
