Grant funds extended day at St. Paul
St. Paul School in San Pablo received a $1.8 million grant over the next five years to expand its after school program into a longer, integrated expanded learning school day. The grant, from the California Department of Education through the University of California at Berkeley Graduate School of Education, will serve about 50 pupils in the before-school program and 120 students in the after-school, program. Pupils K-8 will receive homework help and tutoring, and be fed snacks and light meals. For more information, 510-233-3080.
