Blessings of the animals, 2014

Oct. 4 is the feast day of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. A tradition to observe his feast day is the blessing of animals. Here are dates and locations of event sponsors that responded to The Voice's request for information about animal blessings. Pictures of pets may be brought for a blessing. All animals must be on a leash or in carriers.
