Saint Mary's College graduations
Leon Panetta, former Secretary of Defense and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency for President Barack Obama, delivered the commencement address to the largest graduating class in the history of Saint Mary's College of California. More 750 students received their diplomas on the Moraga campus. Panetta spoke about the importance of having a commitment to educational excellence, the value of public service, faith and the pursuit of the common good for the benefit of all. He encouraged Saint Mary's graduates to have the will to fight for their beliefs and to defend the values and freedoms we hold dear as a nation.
