Saint Mary's College High graduation
In its 151st commencement, Saint Mary's College High School's Class of 2014 gathered at the campus Cross after the annual Presentation of the Seniors to the student body on June 6. The Baccalaureate Mass was celebrated on campus on June 7, and graduation took place June 8 at Zellerbach Hall on the UC-Berkeley campus. These awards were given at graduation: Dei Verbum Award for Faith, Noah Rosen; Gaudium et Spes Award for Service, Barbara Montano; Lumen Gentium Award for Community, Despina Boutris; Valedictorian Award, Caitlin Kloess; General Academic Excellence (based on GPA), Lawrence Teng; De La Salle Award for Religious Studies, Joselvin Galeas; John Henry Cardinal Newman Award for English, Margaret English; Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Social Studies, Catlin Kloess; Galileo Galilei Award for Laboratory Science, Alana Padua; Brother Alfred Brousseau, FSC, Award for Mathematics, Max Goldstein; Dante Alighieri Award for Foreign Language, French, Vianey Villalobos-Zuniga; and Spanish, Margaret English; Pablo Picasso Award for Visual Arts, Grace Miller; Paul Robeson Award for Performing Arts, Connor Asercion. Awards given at the Baccalaureate Mass: Salutatorian Award, Despina Boutris; and Principal's Award, Bobin Chen.
