El Heraldo Católico launches website

El Heraldo Católico, the Spanish- language monthly of the Diocese of Oakland, has initiated its own website, www.elheraldocatolico.org.

The website features the top stories of each issue, advertising and contact information, an archive of issues from January 2012 and .pdf copies of each issue, which enable readers to see the entire paper, including advertising.

El Heraldo Católico (The Catholic Herald) is delivered at no cost the first weekend of each month to every church in the diocese that offers a Spanish-language Mass.

In May 1997, to meet the needs of the Spanish-speaking community, The Voice joined with the existing Spanish-language newspaper of the Diocese of Sacramento, El Heraldo Católico, in producing a monthly vehicle to provide Catholic information and teaching to our Spanish-language audience.

El Heraldo Católico is now solely produced by The Catholic Voice for an East Bay audience.
