From parish groups, guest speakers, weekend retreats and special events, there are several upcoming opportunities in the region to enhance a couple's "happily ever after."

Feb. 7-9
Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend

Feb. 14 -16
Married Couples Retreat
San Damiano Retreat, 710 Highland Drive, Danville
On this weekend for married couples we will ignite the fire called compassion. Compassion crosses all borders to embrace and to transform. Come explore these themes with a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Registration is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and retreat ends on Feb. 16 with lunch. Cost is $320 per couple. Retreat led by Father Rusty Shaughnessy, OFM, and Karla and Richard Obernesser.

Married Couples Enrichment Afternoon

As part of their jubilee celebration, St. Agnes Parish will present a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Enrichment for Married Couples on the day after Valentine's Day. The session is based on a book by Frank W. Nelson, and will conclude with Mass and renewal of vows at 5 pm. Advance registration is required.
