Retreat for men considering priesthood

St. Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park is hosting a discernment retreat for single men ages 21 and older who are asking themselves, "Should I consider the priesthood?"

The retreat will begin at noon Jan. 17 and end at 1 p.m. Jan. 19. In between will be presentations about life as a seminarian and priest; prayer and worship opportunities; and times for questions and interacting with priests and seminarians.

Men must be sponsored by a parish priest or recommended by a diocesan vocation director. In the Diocese of Oakland, contact Rev. Kenneth Nobrega, director of vocations, at KNobrega@oakdiocese.org or 510-267-8345, or Rev. Sergio Lopez, JCD, co-director of vocations at 510-267-8374.

There is no cost to attend the retreat. All meals and lodging are provided.
