Senior home care from a peer

As we age, the simple day to day tasks associated with running a household may seem like an insurmountable burden that can result in unnecessary stress and interfere with our enjoyment of our golden years.

Seniors Helping Seniors home services and its group of caring and compassionate senior caregivers can help alleviate this stress by providing as much or as little help as you need.

One senior said: "I developed a tilted pelvis and couldn't do many of the tasks one does when they live alone in an apartment. I contacted Seniors Helping Seniors and with their cooperation and services my cleaning, laundry, bed-making, grocery shopping and keeping my doctor's appointments were accomplished," reports Denis Prone, who with his wife, Alma, own the Seniors Helping Seniors based in San Leandro and serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Often the responsibility for providing support rests with the adult children. For many, the task of working full time and raising a family, while serving as primary caregivers for their aging parents can prove to be an overwhelming burden.

Seniors Helping Seniors home services helps lessen this strain by providing an experienced and credible resource for older adults. It's full range of home care, companion and home maintenance support services are delivered by seniors who understand what aging is all about.

Prone reported this account from another senior, "When my dad got to be too much for my mom to take care of at home, we tried an assisted living facility. They did all the right things, but he was incredibly lonely and heartbroken and so was my mom. We've tried lots of services; nothing is like the people who work here. Thank God for Seniors Helping Seniors services. They gave them what they needed, with people who cared at a cost that was affordable. They really relieved my worry."
