College to inaugurate president

James A. Donahue

Saint Mary's College of California will inaugurate James A. Donahue as its 29th president on Oct. 11 on the Chapel Lawn on the Moraga campus.

The educator who led the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley from 2000 to 2013 is the first layperson to become president of the college founded by the Christian Brothers in 1863.
