Welcome Moreau Catholic's new principal
Faculty and friends of Moreau Catholic High School gathered on the evening of Sept. 5 to welcome Lisa Tortorich, the new principal of the Hayward school. Among those greeting Tortorich, left, is Sister Barbara Bray, SNJM, right, superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Oakland. Tortorich, who served at Mercy High School in Burlingame for the past four years, is no stranger to the Diocese of Oakland. She began her teaching career at Holy Names High School in Oakland, and was assistant principal at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland before going to the Burlingame school.
