SPRED the Word
At the end of the silver anniversary SPRED — Special Religious Education — Catechist Reflection Weekend, catechists gather around Franciscan Father Ray Bucher at the San Damiano Retreat Center. Supporters of SPRED, which integrates people with development disabilities into the faith and life of the church, will gather at St. Felicitas Church for Mass at 4:30 p.m. April 13, followed by dinner and dancing in the parish hall. St. Felicitas is at 1662 Manor Blvd., San Leandro. Reservations should be made by April 6. Tickets are $30 for adults, $12 for children, or $285 for a table for 10.
