Father George Mockel

Introduction

Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone and Father George Mockel are in Rome with other bishops from the West for an "ad limina" visit, made usually every five years, this time after seven, to meet with Pope Benedict XVI to report on what is going on in their dioceses and for meetings at Vatican congregations, pontifical councils and major church tribunals for discussions about issues of concern to local bishops and the Vatican.
