"Ignite" draws
enthusiastic crowd

More than 900 young people and their youth group leaders gathered for "Ignite Pure Explosion," the diocesan youth rally April 21 at James Logan High School in Union City. Teens from throughout the Oakland diocese enjoyed a day that included music by City's End, speakers Rev. Agustino Torres and Chris Stefanick and Mass. Youth groups included one from the St. Andrew Kim Korean Center in Oakland, bottom . At the end of the day, Father Torres, a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal, celebrated Mass for the young people and their chaperones. Priests from around the diocese concelebrated. Seminarians served at Mass.
