The Veil
This clay sculpture by Jo-Ann Brody is one of 36 works in an exhibition that explores the many manifestations and interpretations of The Veil. The exhibition will be open 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Wednesday – Sunday, Feb. 12 – March 25, at the Saint Mary’s College Museum of Art, 1928 Saint Mary’s Road in Moraga. This parish mission is called Taking a New Road with Paula D’Arcy, an author, speaker and president of the Red Bird Foundation which supports the growth and spiritual development of the hurting and marginalized. D’Arcy’s ministry grew from personal tragedy: after an accident involving a drunk driver that claimed the lives of her husband and 21-month daughter.
