
Touring relic to visit
The Diocese of Oakland will welcome the heart
of St. John Vianney, known as the patron saint of diocesan priests,
July 16-18. The sacred relic is being taken around the world as part
of the celebration of the Year of the Priest, which is concluding
this summer. Churches scheduled to host the relic include St. John
Vianney in Walnut Creek, Holy Spirit in Fremont and the Cathedral
of Christ the Light. A more detailed schedule will be published in
the July 5 issue of The Voice. |
