Honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe
More than 2,000 Latino Catholics from parishes throughout the diocese converged on International Blvd. in Oakland Dec. 5 for the annual pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, whose feast is celebrated on Dec. 12. They walked, danced, sang and prayed during the three hour procession to the Cathedral of Christ the Light, where Bishop Salvatore Cordileone celebrated Mass.

Dancers from Most Holy Rosary Parish in Antioch perform during the procession along International Blvd. The parish brought four busloads of parishioners to the pilgrimage.
