Got the Gospel?
Ann Naffziger, who as a Master’s Degree of Divinity and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Languages, will teach a six-week class, “Overview of the Four Gospels,” at St. Joseph Basilica Parish, 1109 Chestnut St. in Alameda. Sessions will be held on Mondays (10 – 11:30 a.m.) and Tuesdays (7 – 8:30 p.m.) from June 16 – July 22. Participants will read each gospel in it’s entirely during the course. Free will offering. Never too early
Augustinian Father Kevin C. Mullins, pastor at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Castro Valley, will lead an informational workshop, Planning a Loved One’s Catholic Funeral, on June 28 from 3 – 5 p.m. in the Stack Center at Our Lady of Grace Parish, 3433 Somerset Ave., Castro Valley. His presentation will cover the vigil, Mass, and committal. There will be time for questions and answers.
