Celebrating Berry
Brian Swimme, a cosmologist, teacher at the
Sophia Center at Holy Names University (HNU) in Oakland and author
will deliver the keynote address, “Journeying Through the Cosmos
with Thomas Berry,” at HNU’s 11th Annual Sophia Center
Summer Institute, on July 17 at 7 p.m. This year’s institute,
to be held July 17 – 20, will be a celebration of the life of
Thomas Berry whose work has informed much of the teaching at the center
