Gina Hens-Piazza, a professor of Biblical
Studies at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, will present
a lecture on March 5 in the Regents Theatre of the Valley Center
for the Performing Arts at Holy Names University, 3500 Mountain
Blvd. in Oakland. The lecture, titled “Many Voices –
One Text: Toward a Truly Catholic Biblical Interpretation,”
begins at 7:30 p.m. It is the second of the Bishop John Cummins Speaker
Series. The first speaker was Charles Geschke, co-founder of Adobe,
