
AT LEFT: Father Dan Danielson,
pastor of the Catholic Community of Pleasanton, breaks ground,
Sept. 30, for the Pope John Paul II activity center at the parish’s
St. Elizabeth Seton site. With him are Bishop Allen Vigneron and
Father Padraig Greene who will become the parish’s parochial
administrator when Father Danielson retires in January. The center,
estimated to cost about $5 million, will include a gymnasium.
