These children sit in front of their house, which collapsed during a Sept. 12 earthquake, in Lais in Bengkulu province, Indonesia. Three major quakes occurred in the area within two days, causing severe damage and some deaths. Catholic Relief Services is supplying family kits, containing nonfood items such as cooking utensils, tarps and mosquito nets, to some villagers and is mobilizing with aid partners to provide medicines, cleanup kits and other temporary shelter supplies.
