BA, MA pastoral courses at HNU

The pastoral formation programs developed by Holy Names University and the Oakland Diocese to provide bachelor’s and master’s degrees to lay ministers continues on the university’s Oakland campus.

An informational meeting about these academic programs will be held May 24 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Bay Vista Room at Holy Names University, 3500 Mountain Blvd.

Both the BA in Religious Studies, a four-year program, and the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries, a three-year program, are geared to students who are working adults. Courses for the MA program take into account that students are full-time pastoral ministers.

Classes are usually scheduled for four hours every Monday.
