75th anniversary of apparition
of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Pilgrims view the original image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the basilica named for her in Mexico City Nov. 29. The appearance of Mary to St. Juan Diego in Mexico in 1531 is said to have resulted in millions of conversions to Catholicism. The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is Dec. 12.
