EWTN will broadcast Pope’s Christmas Mass

PhotoThe Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), the 24-hour Catholic TV network, will broadcast a variety of Christmas programs this month including live telecasts from the Vatican and Washington, D.C.

A live broadcast of Midnight Mass from St. Peter’s Square with Pope Benedict XVI will air Dec. 24 at 3 p.m.

Another live telecast featuring choral meditations and the Solemn Mass of Christmas Eve from the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., will be shown Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.

Encore telecasts of the Pope’s “Urbi et Orbi” Christmas Message to the world will air Dec. 25 at 7 p.m. and 12 midnight and Dec. 26 at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, the annual Christmas concert of the student choir at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. will be broadcast Dec. 16 at 10:30 p.m., Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 25 at 5 p.m.
