Interfaith prayer service to
support those affected by AIDS

The HIV/AIDS Education and Outreach Ministry of Alameda is sponsoring its 13th annual interfaith prayer service, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1420 Lafayette St. in Alameda. The service is held to support those whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Pastors from various faith communities will participate in the service, which is open to the public. This year’s theme is “You Are Not Alone.”
