Jesus - Decoded
The
U.S. bishops’ Catholic Communication Campaign has developed a website
(www.jesusdecoded.com) to counter claims made in the “The Da Vinci
Code” by Dan Brown.
The CCC has also produced a documentary, “Jesus Decoded,”
that presents Catholic teaching about Jesus Christ, his disciples and
the formation of the books of the New Testament. Shot on location in Israel,
Turkey and Italy, it concentrates on the first three centuries of the
development of the Church. The documentary has been offered to NBC affiliates,
but as The Voice went to press none had agreed to run the program. A DVD
of the documentary is available for $19.95 at www.jesusdecoded.com.
