EWTN to broadcast
Holy Week Masses with Pope Benedict

EWTN will broadcast the Holy Week liturgies with Pope Benedict XVI from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, beginning with the Palm Sunday Mass, April 9, live at 12:30 a.m., with a three-hour encore at 5 p.m.

The Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday, April 13, will also broadcast at 12:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 8:30 a.m., with a two-hour encore at 9 p.m.

The Good Friday liturgy, April 14, will broadcast live at 8 a.m. with a two-hour encore at 9 p.m. The Solemn Way of the Cross will be broadcast at 5 p.m.

The Easter Vigil Mass on April 15 begins at 1 p.m. with the three-hour encore at 9 p.m.

The Solemn Mass of Easter will be broadcast live at 1:30 a.m. with a 90-minute encore at 9 p.m.

Pope Benedict’s Easter message and blessing will be carried live at 3 p.m., encore at 10:30 a.m.
