Singing
for peace
Liturgical musician and composer Bob Hurd, known for such songs
as “Shelter Me, O God,” and “In the Breaking of
the Bread,” will be featured in a Sunday evening concert of
music, celebration and prayer on Feb. 12 at St. Monica Church, 1001
Camino Pablo, Moraga, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Free will offerings
will benefit the Nevada Desert Experience, an organization that
brings together people of faith in a campaign to stop nuclear weapons
testing.
