Witnessing to religious life

Students at Carondelet High School in Concord witnessed 40 Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet renewing their vows during a special assembly, March 11, in the school auditorium. The ceremony was part of the school’s observance of the feast of St. Joseph. The celebration included a brief historical narrative of the Sisters, prayer, and a dance performance by a group of students.

The participating Sisters serve in schools, parishes, social service agencies, and other ministries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Among those renewing their vows were Sisters observing special milestones in the community, including Sister Dorothy Elaine Stack, a golden jubilarian, of Berkeley.
