Fighting for their daughter’s life

Bob and Mary Schindler listen to comments by Father Thomas Euteneuer during a Feb. 25 press conference at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida, where their brain-damaged daughter Terri Schiavo is being kept alive with the aid of feeding tubes. Florida Judge George Greer ordered that the feeding tubes be removed on March 18, as her husband has requested. The Schindlers say their daughter would want to live, in part because of her Catholic beliefs, and they are fighting the tube removals.
